This paper investigates the application of integrated reading and writing instruction in university English classrooms. Through literature review and case analysis, it reveals the positive impact of integrated teaching on students' English proficiency. The study finds that reading and writing are complementary, and integrated instruction helps to enhance students' comprehensive language abilities. This paper is structured around three aspects: the relationship between reading and writing, integrated teaching models, and empirical research, providing valuable theoretical and practical insights for university English classroom teaching.
