Feasibility Study of Optimizing Junior High School English Writing Assessment and Feedback Using Technological Means

Abstract

With the rapid development and widespread application of educational technology, the practice of optimizing the assessment and feedback of junior high school English writing using technological means has become an important research direction in the field of English teaching. This study aims to explore the feasibility of utilizing modern information technology such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize the process of assessment and feedback for junior high school English writing, thereby improving assessment efficiency and feedback effectiveness. By designing and implementing a series of technology-based English writing assessment tools, this research analyzes the effectiveness and feasibility of technological means in enhancing the quality of writing instruction, increasing student motivation in writing, and improving teacher assessment efficiency. The results indicate that technological means can significantly optimize the process of writing assessment and feedback, increase student interest and engagement in English writing, and provide teachers with convenient and efficient assessment tools.
