Abstract

This study aims to explore the current alignment between higher education and the demands of the employment market, analyze the issues in higher education's fulfillment of economic and social development needs, and propose effective strategies and recommendations. Through methods such as literature review, questionnaire survey, and data analysis, the study found a certain gap between higher education and the employment market in curriculum design, skill development, and practical teaching. The study suggests enhancing industry-education integration, updating teaching content and methods, strengthening practical teaching, and establishing a dynamic feedback mechanism between education and employment to improve the employment orientation and practicality of higher education.
