Abstract

The administration of higher education in China faces many challenges and opportunities. At present, we have to face up to the unbalanced distribution of educational resources in various places, which directly affects the quality of education in some areas. In terms of teaching quality and innovative ability, we still need to strive to improve, especially to cultivate students' practical ability and innovative thinking. In addition, the efficiency and transparency of administrative management need to be strengthened, and the internal management and supervision mechanism need to be further improved. Nevertheless, we also see many opportunities. In recent years, the emphasis and investment of national policies on higher education have brought us new opportunities for development. At the same time, international academic exchanges and cooperation have become increasingly frequent, which has brought advanced teaching concepts and technologies to China's higher education. The rapid development of information technology also provides new teaching means and resources for higher education. In this context, we should seize the opportunity, meet the challenges and strive to improve the overall level of higher education in China. This paper discusses these challenges and opportunities in depth, and provides improvement countermeasures for the administration of higher education in China, and looks forward to its future development direction.
