As green finance has gradually become an important development direction of national economies, in order to ensure that the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" can be fulfilled as scheduled, the Chinese government proposed the development of green bonds in 2021. In this paper, comparative analysis is adopted to first sort out the current situation of the domestic green bond market. On this basis, China is compared with the international green bond market. Finally, based on the comparative analysis of China and the international market, as well as the existing favorable market foundation in China, this paper puts forward the future outlook of China's green bond market.
