Conducting patriotic education in universities under the background of the new era is not only an inevitable requirement of national strategy but also a core path for cultivating new generations capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation. Currently, advancing patriotic education in universities must be based on the actual situation of the new era, exploring scientific implementation methods to enhance its effectiveness, pertinence, and influence. To this end, the implementation of patriotic education in universities in the new era must establish the "Four Communities": a Curriculum Community, a Space Community, a Responsibility Community, and a Method Community, mobilizing all positive factors to promote the integration of patriotic education in the new era throughout all aspects of university education and teaching.
