Abstract

This study examines the principal factors associated with corporate supply chain resilience. Using the Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) sections of annual reports issued by Chinese A-share listed firms, it extends the technology-organization-environment (TOE) framework by incorporating firms' internal policies and institutional mechanisms, thereby developing a PTOE analytical framework. Terms are first extracted from academic studies, policy documents, industry standards, and professional reports. After contextual validation, they are compiled into a supply chain resilience keyword list. A large language model is then used to identify relevant short sentences in the annual reports and support a two-dimensional analysis. The results show that resilience-related disclosures are concentrated in technological adjustment, responses to external risks, and supply network arrangements. Technological conditions are more often associated with adaptive capacity, whereas the market and supply chain environment is more often associated with resistance capacity; references to recovery capacity are comparatively rare. The study provides a supply chain resilience keyword list and organizes specific determinants into cross-classified cells defined by PTOE factors and the three resilience capacities, producing a structured set of tables for subsequent large-sample text identification and structural analysis.
