Abstract

Caixin Media has established a paid news model in the course of its digital transformation, tapping into the power of vertical market segments to provide users with irreplaceable content. This paper makes suggestions for the transformation of the paper media from three aspects: Caixin Media's profit model, user orientation, and content production. The paper media should leverage its brand strengths, increase its focus on vertical markets and value its professional team as a core resource.
