Since the official establishment of China’s postdoctoral system in 1985, the system has played an important role in promoting education along with research and scientific innovation. The postdoctoral system has also become an important part of China's mechanism to select, educate and employ expertise. However, with its vigorous development, problems do exist in the management of this system, such as unclear rights and responsibilities, ambiguous positioning, difficulty in training while employing talents, etc. Clarification is needed for relationship among postdoctoral, institutes where stations are set up and cooperative supervisors.
