Abstract

In the post-epidemic era, there are many opportunities for cross-cultural communication of Chinese films that need to be paid attention to. From the perspective of cross-cultural communication, the problems of "cultural differences" causing Chinese films to go out include the differences between Chinese and Western civilizations under material differences; the "failure" of words after the context differences from "high cultural context" to "low cultural context"; the "difference in intention" and cultural choice differences. From the principle of "cultural similarity", the future paths of Chinese films include: setting universal theme and "hero" based on the mechanism of "psychological similarity", transforming "cultural imagination" based on "cultural imagination"; and creating future science fiction stories and post-human development images based on the principle of "evolutionary similarity".
