With the deepening of economic globalization, manufacturing industry is facing more and more challenges. In order to meet these challenges, the manufacturing industry needs to transform and upgrade, and constantly improve its high-quality development level. As an important means to help the manufacturing industry enhance its competitiveness and create value, industrial design plays a vital role in the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. This paper will discuss how industrial design can empower the high-quality development of manufacturing industry, and put forward corresponding strategic suggestions.
