Safety is the prerequisite and foundation for the reform, development, and stability of universities, as well as the basic guarantee for universities to achieve the goal of cultivating high-quality talents. Strengthening campus safety management is a basic requirement for ensuring the healthy development of university education and the healthy growth of students. Building a safe and stable campus environment is an objective demand for the development of colleges and universities in the new era and the growth and talents of students. Campus security management is characterized by systematicness, complexity, and long-term nature. In the face of complex and volatile domestic and international situations, under the guidance of the new era ideology, it is necessary to continuously improve the campus security management system in colleges and universities, optimize and innovate work models, improve various rules and regulations, and implement measures such as subjective responsibility, in order to build a more complete and more secure campus security system. This article analyzes the current situation and problems of campus security management in colleges and universities, and constructs a complete campus security system guided by the idea of the new era.
