Integrating ideological and political education into the cultivation of diplomatic and foreign affairs talents is an important content of the reform and development of higher education in the new era, and is also an inevitable requirement for implementing the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating talents. Starting from the challenges and opportunities faced by the cultivation of diplomatic and foreign affairs talents in the new era, combined with the main tasks of ideological and political education in universities, this article explores the path of integrating ideological and political education into the cultivation of diplomatic and foreign affairs talents from different aspects, with a view to providing new ideas for the ideological and political education work in universities.
