Research on Modern University Libraries to Serve the Development of Higher Education

Abstract

With the fast expansion of higher education in China, the construction and development of university libraries cannot obviously follow behind the pace of higher education. It has to face increasing problems arising from many factors relevant. It also raise the question how to deal with the present problem and seek for further develop. In order to answer the question, this paper focuses on three aspects such as space layout, collection quality, and personnel training, aiming to explore the construction of modern university library to serve the development of higher education in China.
