Abstract

As a world-renowned actress, Michelle Yeoh's work has received widespread attention. But few scholars have done research about her speeches. The paper employs the theory of systemic functional grammar and explores the three meta-functions of the speech discourse. The paper can help readers have a comprehensive understanding of the theory and have a good command of presentation skills.
