The Foreign Affairs Mechanism of China's Mass Organizations in the Belt and Road Cooperation with ASEAN Evidence-Based Decision-Making Research

Abstract

China-ASEAN relations have become the most successful and dynamic model of regional cooperation in the Asia-Pacific. It has four historical experiences, namely mutual respect, win-win cooperation, mutual assistance, and inclusiveness and mutual learning. It has become a vivid example of promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. Against the backdrop of profound changes unseen in the world in a century, the two sides will enhance closer partnerships of strategic mutual trust, economic and trade, connectivity and sustainable development, and build seven partnerships, including innovation and digital, people-to-people exchanges and multilateralism. How Chinese group organizations build non-governmental diplomacy to ASEAN, and how to rely on group organizations to achieve the joint participation of the whole society and all fields are powerful supplements to diplomacy with characteristics of a major country, and it is also a foreign affairs working mechanism for ASEAN in the diplomatic strategy with characteristics of a major country make evidence-based decision-making. A closer China ASEAN Community of Shared Future (China ASEAN Community of Shared Future) will be established by studying the high-quality development path of group organizations and improving the efficiency of foreign affairs services.
