With the rapid development of our country's modernization and the continuous expansion of the scale of education in colleges and universities, local undergraduate institutions had increased their investment in laboratory construction and laboratory management. However, after the construction of local undergraduate colleges, there were a series of outstanding problems in laboratory management, such as shortage of professional talents, inadequate institutional systems and insufficient investment in investment. This article conducted in-depth research on the current status of the safety management of chemical laboratories in local universities combined the reform of the education system in the context of the new era. And compared the experience of the safety management of foreign universities' laboratories, we analysed the problems existing in the safety management of local universities, so as to put forward the proposal countermeasures to improve laboratory safety management capabilities.
