Analysis of the Current Situation of Regional Kindergarten Process Quality of Childcare

Abstract

The process quality of childcare and education is a key factor in the quality of kindergarten childcare and education, and focusing on process quality is an inevitable requirement for the high-quality connotative development of preschool education. However, there are relatively few studies on the process quality of childcare and education in China, and most of them are scattered in the overall research on the quality of kindergarten education. Early childhood teachers are the main actors in the organization and implementation of kindergarten care and education activities, and in a series of studies related to the quality of kindergarten education, teacher care and education behaviors have been taken as one of the core variables. Therefore, this study takes kindergarten teachers' background variables as the entry point to investigate and study the development of kindergarten process care and education quality in Hainan Province. The results of the study show that the process quality of childcare and education in Hainan Province generally meets the standards, and that the process quality of childcare and education is significantly correlated with four variables, namely, teachers' teaching age, education background, location of the kindergarten and the nature of the organization.
