A Comparative Study of Cultural Factors in International Chinese Language Textbooks at the Intermediate Level

Abstract

According to the five levels of the International Framework for the Classification of Cultural Factors for Chinese Textbooks, detailed quantitative statistics and analysis of the cultural factors of the two sets of textbooks are carried out in terms of quantities and classifications, and four recommendations are made for the preparation of cultural factors for Chinese textbooks: First, the selection of cultural elements should be scientifically reasonable. Secondly, focusing on the reproduction of the system Thirdly, the choice of cultural content should be based on both practicality and interest. Fourthly, preparation should have a cross-cultural consciousness.
