Abstract

Ideological and political education in vocational engineering courses is one of the important ways to cultivate students' comprehensive qualities, which plays an important role in promoting students' comprehensive development and enhancing their sense of social responsibility and mission. This paper takes the course "Maintenance of Vehicle Wireless Communication Equipment" as an example to explore the importance and practice of ideological and political education in this course. Through summarizing the teaching practice experience of this course, it is found that ideological and political education has a positive promoting effect on improving students' moral quality, professional literacy, innovation ability, and other aspects, and can effectively promote students' self-awareness and growth. Therefore, in vocational engineering courses, the role of ideological and political education should be emphasized, and its important role in curriculum teaching should be fully utilized.
