With the continuous development of the Internet era, the way of mass basketball culture transmission has also changed, and its role in promoting social development cannot be ignored. This paper takes the Douyin short video APP as the entry point, uses the methods of literature, mathematical statistics and logical analysis to analyze the current situation of Douyin short video's dissemination of mass basketball culture, discusses the advantages of Douyin short video for the development of mass basketball culture dissemination as well as the current problems and shortcomings, and aims to provide optimization suggestions for the development of mass basketball culture dissemination.
