Abstract

Intangible cultural heritage is an important symbol of the historical and cultural achievements of Chinese civilisation."Documentaries on intangible cultural heritage have made remarkable contributions to the preservation and development of Chinese culture by facilitating the dissemination of intangible cultural heritage through their "true-to-life" visual expression, showcasing China's image to the outside world, and making China's voice heard.The purpose of this paper is to analyse the qualities and communication disadvantages of intangible cultural heritage documentaries in terms of communication subjects, value information, and communication channels in the context of the Internet, and to explore their innovative narrative strategies in the Internet era.
