This article aims to explore the design methods of science popularization picture books for children in the new era. On the value level, the research focuses on the spiritual guidance of children, helping them enhance their cognitive understanding of the world and adapt to the values of the new era. In the professional field, the application of animation effects and interactive technology is employed to present the content of the picture books. Ultimately, the goal is to operationalize the theory by using picture books to enable children to understand unknown fields and provide new perspectives for science popularization in the new era.
