Abstract

Microorganisms are a special group in the biological field featuring small size, fast breeding speed, and large number. They could transform the organic and toxic substances in the actual metabolism, which are threatening to the ecological environment, into inorganic substances to maintain the ecological balance. Microbial technology has the advantages of low cost and high efficiency and has been widely used in water pollution treatment. In this paper, we analyze the mechanism of microbial technology, describe the source of degrading bacteria, and explore the application way of microbial application in water pollution treatment in detail.
