Abstract

Graphene composite modified epoxy asphalt and its mixture for road and bridge pavement were prepared by adding different proportions of graphene oxide into epoxy asphalt. The effect of graphene oxide on its properties was discussed. The results show that with the increase of GO content, the tensile strength of GO composite modified epoxy asphalt increases and the elongation at break decreases. The high temperature properties, low temperature properties and water stability properties of the mixture were improved to varying degrees.
