At present, traffic safety has become an important factor in the operation and management of expressways, and it is imperative to curb the growth of expressway traffic accidents. This article aims to analyze the deep-seated reasons that affect expressway traffic safety from the two aspects of expressway traffic accident characteristics and influential factors of expressway traffic safety.
