This paper delves into the evolution of cheerleading costume design and how these changes reflect the development of culture and the arts. Starting from the history of cheerleading costumes, it analyzes the changes in design, explores the cultural meanings behind these changes, and focuses on how costumes have become an integral part of the visual arts in dance. By comparing cheerleading costumes from different periods and regions, the paper reveals the close connection between costume design and cultural expression.
