Research Value of Calligraphy Education in Higher Education Institutions in the New Era

Abstract

Based on the profound challenges and changes faced by traditional Chinese culture, this paper explores the research value of calligraphy education in higher education institutions in the new era. This paper elaborates that calligraphy education in higher education institutions in the new era is an effective way to inherit traditional Chinese culture, which can cultivate students' sense of identification and pride in traditional culture; This paper analyzes the positive impact of calligraphy education in universities in the new era on the development of students' comprehensive qualities, including improving aesthetic ability, creativity, imagination, etc; The combination of calligraphy education in higher education institutions and modern educational concepts in the new era is innovative and forward-looking, which can better meet the learning needs of students and the needs of social development.
