This paper systematically studies and explores the innovative issues of ideological and political education for college students in the context of the new media era. By analyzing the development and application of new media technology, combined with interdisciplinary integration and diversified education models, some innovative educational paths have been proposed. Research suggests that in the era of new media, ideological and political education for college students should actively apply new media technology, utilize new media platforms to disseminate ideological and political knowledge, and broaden their horizons; Meanwhile, interdisciplinary integration can cultivate students' comprehensive analysis and problem-solving abilities; The diversified education model focuses on individual differences, improving student participation and learning outcomes. However, implementing the innovation path still faces challenges such as teacher team building, educational resource and platform construction. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen teacher training and educational resource construction, and continuously improve the implementation methods and effects of innovative paths.
