This dissertation aims to explore the re-creation of traditional Chinese symbols in modern architecture. With the development of society and the diversification of culture, traditional Chinese patterns, as a unique visual language of Chinese culture, are gradually integrated into modern architectural design. Through the use of traditional symbols, modern architecture can better express Chinese cultural traditions and essence to enhance the integration of architecture and environment, and enhance the artistry and uniqueness of the building. The re-creation of traditional symbols can also promote cultural inheritance and innovative development, and promote the international dissemination of Chinese architectural culture. This study will systematically analyze the ways in which traditional Chinese symbols are recreated in modern architecture, as well as the value and effects they bring. In the future, it will bring new design inspiration and direction to designers.
