Abstract

Curriculum-based ideological and political education is an important way for universities to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue. College English teachers are one of those who are engaged in CIPE. They are generally confronted with the obstacles of insufficient recognition of the CIPE value, lack of capacity to explore CIPE resources, and rigid integration approaches, which will directly impact the effect of CIPE implementation. Therefore, they should enhance their CIPE qualification, improve their ability to explore and apply CIPE, innovate teaching methods to promote the enhancement of CIPE construction in colleges and universities.
