Abstract

Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world. It is the fourth most common cancer globally and has the second highest mortality rate. Metastasis is an important characteristic and cause of death of GC. Exploring the mechanism of GC metastasis and finding new drug targets has become a focus. Traditional Chinese medicine may have a great potential promising in treating GC. This article reviews the research progress on the anti-metastatic activity of traditional Chinese medicine to promote the clinical development of GC treatment.
