The rapid advancement of urbanization in China has led to the rapid hollowing out and decline of traditional villages, resulting in the continuous loss of cultural heritage and ancient buildings. By intervening in the entire process of village transformation through Image Chronicles, the cultural essence left by humanity over millennia is documented. This paper proposes three perspectives of Image Chronicles documentation to support rural revitalization in the context of villages facing three different outcomes: disappearance, restoration to original condition, and complete renewal. These perspectives are "participant observation," "emic recording," and "new media dissemination." Utilizing the power of imagery, this approach aims to preserve human cultural heritage.
