In the current era of the globalization of the knowledge economy, national development requires compound talents that combine a variety of knowledge, technologies, and qualities.  At the same time, society’s requirements for talents are increasing.  As the main channel for cultivating talents, colleges have weakened and lacked humanistic quality education.  This paper takes Chinese excellent traditional culture as the starting point, analyzes the strategy of improving college students’ humanistic literacy with traditional culture, and it has important practical significance for the promotion of humanistic quality education in colleges.
