Village sports performances are an important carrier of rural folk culture that integrates blood relations, kinship, ancestral relations, and geographical relations, embodying the genetic code of Chinese culture over five thousand years. This study primarily utilizes literature review and field investigation methods within the theoretical framework of cultural ecology. Through the analysis of the typical case of the “Bench Dragon” in Chongren, it explores relevant dimensions from the perspectives of natural environment, social environment, and ethnic group members, and proposes strategies for the optimized development of the cultural ecology of the “Bench Dragon” in Chongren.
