This article aims to explore the teaching reform ideas and practices of the course "Introduction to Social Sports" under the background of new productive forces. By analyzing the impact of new productive forces on physical education curriculum teaching, this article proposes a curriculum teaching reform plan that meets the needs of the times. The research focuses on the reconstruction of the curriculum system, innovation of teaching methods, and improvement of the evaluation system, aiming to construct a student-centered teaching model that emphasizes the cultivation of practical ability and innovative literacy. Through practical exploration, this article verifies the effectiveness of teaching reform. This study indicates that the teaching reform of the course "Introduction to Social Sports" under the new productive forces can help improve the quality of teaching and cultivate sports talents who can meet the needs of social development.
