Abstract

Pseudoaneurysms of the superior mesenteric artery are relatively rare in clinical practice, often presenting with atypical clinical manifestations that can lead to misdiagnosis and serious consequences. This paper reviews a case of ruptured pseudoaneurysm of the superior mesenteric artery and discusses its clinical presentation and management strategies, drawing upon relevant literature.
