Considering the actual situation, under the continuous development of contemporary Western art, its methods of definition have undergone significant changes, making art increasingly indefinable. Consequently, the concept of contemporary Western art has become fraught with confusion and frustration. This paper aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of this confusion and frustration surrounding the concept of contemporary Western art, hoping to assist related work.
