Abstract

In the new era, China's foreign communication work has entered a brand new stage of development. When dealing with the attacks of the Western media, hosts should find ways to get out of the “discourse trap” and grasp the right to speak. At the same time, when facing audiences from all over the world, hosts should seriously think about how to tell China's story well, which is a problem that international hosts need to think about at present. This thesis is based on foreign communication activities, focusing on foreign communication hosts, and discusses the construction of oral communication ability of foreign hosts in China in today's complex international context.
