A Study on the International Communication of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture from the Perspective of Frame Semantics

Abstract

The international communication of Traditional Chinese Medicine culture is an important topic discussed by scholars. As a new theory of language cognition, Frame Semantics has a strong explanatory power for the translating behavior aiming at cultural communication. From the perspective of Frame Semantics, the new challenges of the international communication of Traditional Chinese Medicine culture will be analyzed. According to challenges TCM faced, strategy of TCM translation will be put forward to improve the efficiency of TCM culture international communication.
