Cross-border e-commerce in China is experiencing rapid growth and represents one of the industries with immense potential within the country's tertiary sector. In this context, there is a shortage of compound talents who possess proficiency in both foreign languages and foreign trade knowledge. To address this issue, this article delves into the current demand for cross-border e-commerce talents and the deficiencies in cross-border e-commerce talent cultivation within universities. It further explores potential solutions, aiming to offer insights for university talent cultivation models and broaden employment perspectives for students in related majors.
