Chinese classics show the cultural characteristics of China's multi-ethnic groups, and are the common spiritual wealth of all mankind. They not only have important ideological value, but also contain rich cultural information. The translation of Chinese classics into English is not only an important part of the cultural exchange between China and the West, but also an important way to spread Chinese excellent culture. Corpora provide a large amount of real corpus for translation, and it is very important to build a large-scale parallel corpus with rich data, accuracy and reliability for a high-quality machine translation system. In view of the many problems faced by the translation of Chinese classics into English, such as translator quality, translation level and translation strategies, this paper, from the perspective of translators and disseminators, follows the basic principles of corpus construction, designs a corpus construction scheme for the translation of Chinese classics into English, builds the corpus according to the construction process and conducts application analysis, so as to promote the introduction of Chinese classics to the world.
