Abstract

Junior high school students are in a critical stage of adolescence. This study employs a case study approach to analyze a junior high school student from a single-parent family in a specific region. By examining the psychological challenges faced by the student, this paper explores the causes of such issues from the perspectives of key interpersonal relationships, include parents, peers, and social networks, and discusses emotional dilemmas, unexpressed struggles, and latent crises. The analysis integrates family, school, and societal factors to propose practical countermeasures. These include fostering positive parental emotional influences, enhancing teachers’ empathetic engagement, and promoting social-emotional learning in schools. Such strategies aim to improve emotional expression, strengthen psychological resilience, and cultivate healthy mental states and positive social emotions among adolescents.
