The rapid development of artificial intelligence has brought profound transformations to various industries, and the field of translation master’s education, which is responsible for cultivating translation talents, is also facing new challenges. Artificial intelligence translation assistance tools, such as machine translation, memory and corpus analysis tools, and large language models, have become critical components of translation master’s education. This thesis aims to analyze the challenges posed by AI-driven translation assistance tools to the training of translation masters and propose corresponding countermeasures to promote deeper integration between the two. By doing so, it seeks to enhance the quality of education, cultivate high-level translation talents that meet the demands of the times, and drive new developments and breakthroughs in translation master’s education in the era of artificial intelligence.
