Abstract

Throughout China's history, significant changes and developments have occurred in how chairs are designed and styled as dynasties have changed. These changes are often related to the lifestyle and cultural background of the people at that time. This paper summarizes and analyses chair design styles in the order of ancient Chinese dynasties.
