This study examines the integration of ideological and political education with psychological education, exploring its multidimensional aspects. The necessity of this integration is analyzed through three lenses: addressing students’ comprehensive developmental needs, responding to challenges in complex social environments, and enhancing educational efficacy. Its feasibility and practical significance are demonstrated through theoretical alignment, shared objectives, and complementary methodologies. By synthesizing theoretical frameworks and practical case studies, the research identifies concrete pathways for integration, including curriculum development (e.g., specialized courses and content consolidation), activity design (e.g., thematic educational initiatives and psychological resilience training), and faculty collaboration (e.g., joint training and interdisciplinary mechanisms). Furthermore, the study delves into integrating red dynamism into spiritual growth, emphasizing the utilization of revolutionary resources, the inheritance of revolutionary heritage, and the promotion of revolutionary spirit. This approach aims to cultivate a new generation of talents with firm convictions, robust psychological resilience, and noble moral character, offering valuable insights and guidance for educational advancement.
