Abstract

Patient education in neurology clinical teaching plays a crucial role in disease management and improving patients' quality of life. Neurological diseases are characterized by complexity, progression, and chronicity, making patient education especially important in clinical teaching. Education is not just about conveying medical information; it is also about enhancing patients' understanding of treatment plans, improving self-management capabilities, and alleviating psychological burdens. Although patient education in neurology has received increasing attention, challenges such as limited educational methods and incomplete outcome evaluations still persist in practice. This paper discusses the strategies and methods of patient education in neurology clinical teaching, proposing innovative measures such as the development of individualized education plans, the integration of multi-dimensional educational approaches, and the reinforcement of interactive education. It also explores how to establish a scientific evaluation system and feedback mechanism to continuously optimize the effectiveness of patient education. In the future, the innovative paths for neurology patient education will rely more on the support of information technology and emotional care to further improve patient treatment adherence and quality of life.
