With the ongoing advancement of educational reform, differentiated instruction, as an effective teaching strategy to address individual differences among students, has been widely applied across various subjects, especially in English grammar instruction, where it holds significant value. This paper explores the application of differentiated instruction in English grammar teaching, aiming to improve students' grammar learning outcomes through personalized learning paths, the integration of diverse teaching resources, and the optimization of teaching interaction and feedback mechanisms. First, the theoretical foundations of differentiated instruction are outlined, and its application needs in English grammar teaching are clarified. Then, the paper analyzes specific implementation methods for differentiated instruction strategies and ensures the optimization and innovation of these strategies through effective teaching assessments and continuous improvement mechanisms. Finally, this paper suggests directions for future research on differentiated instruction, including the deep integration of cognitive psychology and differentiated teaching, as well as the support of emerging technologies. The study shows that differentiated instruction can significantly enhance the effectiveness of English grammar teaching and provides theoretical support for future teaching practices.
