Abstract

The television drama "Romance in the Alley" tells a heartwarming realist story set in the late 1970s, against the backdrop of China's reform and opening-up era, where personal growth is inextricably linked to the sweeping changes of the times. This paper will analyze the work from the perspective of "People's Aesthetics", examining its creative logic through approaches such as the commoner's viewpoint, scenario construction, emotional resonance, and themes like "her power" and "warm realism" It will further explore the innovative narrative strategies employed by contemporary mainstream television dramas within the framework of People's Aesthetics.
