Abstract

As China's economy develops, attention to children with special needs has grown. High-quality vocational education is critical for their social integration and independent living, with well-trained teachers playing a key role. Using questionnaires and interviews, this study finds that master's students in special education have only moderate attitudes toward vocational education, while their self-assessed satisfaction with professional knowledge, practical skills, and teaching competence remains low. Interviews also reveal a lack of systematic practical experience and concrete understanding of China's special vocational education. Recommendations include refining the curriculum system and optimizing supervisor guidance.
